Watershed Project

Community Consultation
Planning Places has collaborated with Jeanette Sturiale The Opportunity Consultant to undertake the community consultation process on behalf of Environmental Licensing Professionals Pty Ltd (www.elp.com.au) for the Vital Metals Ltd Voluntary Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) Watershed Project.

Vital Metals www.vitalmetals.com.au is a specialist tungsten explorer and aspires to operate a tungsten mine on its Watershed deposit in North Queensland. The proposed Mining Lease Applications are located approximately 30km north west of the township of Mt Carbine see figure1.

Prior to being granted approval to commence mining activities, Vital Metals has voluntarily opted to undergo a comprehensive EIS. Part of this EIS seeks input from the community and associated government service providers that may be affected as a consequence of the proposed mining activities.
